5 Reasons to Get Family Christmas Photographs & Send Christmas Cards:

  1. Family and friends live far away and you can’t see everyone you want every single year. Update your friends and family with how your year has gone and send them a reminder of how much you care and love them.

  2. Have fun with your family! How often do you really get to do something together as a family that isn’t sitting in front of the TV or doing the mundane? Get out in the beautiful fall air and make a memory with your spouse and/or kiddos. You won’t regret doing it, but you might regret NOT doing it!

  3. Older family and friends may not be on social media. Not everyone you know and care about is on social media, which is where we share our favorite memories and moments. Plus, there’s nothing better than holding a tangible, beautiful photograph. Swiping through your story just isn’t the same.

  4. Make time stand still. We all take photos to remember a specific time, person, or experience. Get creative with your family photos and make it something you won’t forget. Not every photo has to be out in a field somewhere. Dress up in matching pajamas, hire your own personal Santa Claus, go to a Christmas tree farm, or make brunch at home as a family and gather around the table.

  5. Make others feel special by giving them mail they won’t throw away. I mean, let’s be honest, 99% of mail we get goes in the trash. But how many of us end up with 47 Christmas cards on our fridge each year because we want to see everyone’s smiling faces? I’m guilty of leaving mine up for quite a while…

So there you have FIVE reasons to take photographs for a Christmas card. I know I’ll be doing one with my family this year. Will you?

Happy Holidays everyone!
